The phrase “professional skills” is used in the broad sense to describe skills that complement the disciplinary knowledge and disciplinary technical skills that remain the most important aspects of any graduate training. By skills we mean behaviors that can be learned, that can be improved with practice, that require
Reflection and that benefit from ongoing coaching. There is no doubt that there already exists considerable expertise and opportunities for professional skills development across universities. Of course there are variations in how, what, or how much is available and there are very few, if any, institutions which have the resources to provide complete coverage of these skills to their students. PSDP is an idea to provide the students who are going to be graduated soon with skills and capabilities they have but don’t know how to use. This program is to develop their professional skills, competencies which need to be polish before going to the world of professionalism. As we know that when a graduate completes his degree he needs the experience as required by the employers of any firm where he/she applies for the job, so question arises here that “from where to get Experience as he/she graduated recently?” so the answer is “internships” the internships are the “Period of supervised training required for qualifying for a profession. It follows a specified number of academic credits or classroom years.” So how to search for the internships, after attending this training program PSDP the audience will be aware of how to hunt for the job and where to find the job, which sources should be used to find the job. And this program will also make them aware that how to be an employer, how to adopt entrepreneurial skills, how to communicate within the workplace, how to make attractive Curriculum vitae’s to impress the HRM officer of the particular company. And this program will train them to how to manage an office, how to solve conflicts within an organization, how to manage time to work and to take rest, how to relax yourself from the workload stress. And this program will also enable them how to find scholarships and fellowships for their further studies locally or internationally they want to carry on. But as my belief is “the efforts are the keys to open the locks for your luck”.
